Local Files Not Working...

Local Files Not Working...

So I have gone from loving Spotify to thinking this thing is trash due to the non existent customer support so I have moved onto the community in hopes of getting my issue resolved faster.

I have 3 albums I am trying to sync to my mobile devices. They are both androids I am using a Samsung Tab S 10.5 and a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. Neither device is able to sync songs from the local playlist on my desktop. I have spent the last few hours trying to fix it and have read multiple similar topics but nothing is working so yet another local files topic has to be made unfortunately.

I am able to see the playlist on my mobile devices but when I try to download I just get a 0% reading no matter how long I wait and the files never download. I have turned off my anti virus and my firewall to try and fix the issue neither has seemed to help.

Could someone please point me in the right direction...I mean seriously how hard is it to get Taylor Swift and Acid Bath on a phone...

Hello!

Spotify might not download songs when the device you are using has a small available storage.
(sometimes even if you have 500MB-1GB available)
Try deleting apps and stuff you don't need and maybe that helps.

Check your internet connection too.
Maybe closing the app and its process helps.
If nothing works then I would reinstall the Spotify app and retry.

Hope this helps! ♫

Also if you are using an SD card try putting it in a PC and using chkdsk to check it for errors.

The issue seems to be resolved somewhat. After installing/reinstalling the desktop and phone/tablet apps, turning the firewall off and back on and also the antivirus, also finally after posting on the forum the songs began to slowly become available on my tablet. The progress never changed though it still showed downloading 0/13 for 0% but the files are available to use on my device. I've tried the same thing on my phone as well and they are working there as well.

Is this a normal bug or something and maybe I just wasn't patient enough in the beginning? I have about another 30 songs that need to be transferred and I'm hoping this will go much smoother on my second round. Also where do the files actually save to I've checked my files on my phone and SD card and can't seem to find a specific spotify folder or anything similar. I intend to eventually purge all the local music off of my SD card/internal memory but don't want to touch the spotify stuff in the process.
