Logging in to a new Andriod phone and play list are gone

Logging in to a new Andriod phone and play list are gone

I just got a new Samsung Note 9, and I logged in to Spotify and my playlist are gone. I throught this might be a problem becuase I was still logged in to my old phone. I logged off my old phone and still no dice. Ive logged in to my new phone, tablet and mulitple computers and my play list are gone. The one play list that I was able to recover, b/c I sent the link to someone, I can not edit the playlist. Now I just started was using Spotify so I may be missing something. Any suggestions? I am a long time Pandora user and looking to switch but if I can not edit my playlist this will deter me becoming a premium member. I find have to ask a forum complete B.S. not being able to contact Spotify directly is poor customer service.

Hey @Leftbhind74,

Welcome to the community!

Don't worry; your Spotify playlists haven’t disappeared. It sounds like you might be logged into the wrong account. It's possible to create multiple Spotify accounts, each with their own login details, saved music, and subscription. Please check to see if you have any other accounts.

Let me know how it goes. Have a great day 🙂

I have one account one user name and one email address. The stations that I
had are there but the playlist are gone and the one that I have I can not
edit. Even when. I logged in to my old phone I couldn't edit the play list.

Hey @Leftbhind74,

Let's check if the playlist recovery tool helps here:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Click Recover playlists in the menu on the left.
  3. Click RESTORE by the playlist you want to recover.
  4. Open Spotify and find the restored playlist at the bottom of your playlist collection.

Let me know how it goes 🙂
