My Question or Issue

I have not been able to log in to Spotify for several weeks. The error message is: Spotify Premium Account required.<br />I have one. However, I have a Spotify Premium Family account. Is this the reason for the problem?

Hey @tjamaker,

Thanks for reaching out.

Please note that Spotify requires Android 5.0 or higher to run properly (as outlined here), so if you're having any issues, we'd recommend reaching out to your device's manufacturer to inquire about the possibility of an OS update.

If that's not an option, try clean reinstalling the app and make sure you're using the correct login details.

We hope this helps.

I had the same issue yesterday. I tried to reset to factory settings and, after that, nothing worked anymore. Android 4 has been abandoned. I contacted the support but they were not able to help. Here's their message:
"Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with support regarding third-party APPs.
Most APPS are no longer supported by Android 4, as an example Youtube recently stopped supporting everything under Android 5. As much as I would like to help you, unfortunately there is nothing more we can do in this case."

So the only way to use this radio is using another device through bluetooth as a remote control.

If you want to try resetting your device, I suggest making a full backup before.

Hope this helps
