My Question or Issue

Hello,
I've reinstalled the spotify app a few days ago and started the download for all my music afterwards, thinking it would all be available offline again.
The music I want to download includes my Favorite Songs-folder, albums and some playlists.

The problem is that spotify randomly decides to restart the download every now and then, even if the playlist is already fully downloaded! So it starts the download, gets to around 70-100%, and then decides to restart the process. Sometimes it finishes downlading everything, but starts again the next hour.

At some points, the download of a playlist/album was much quicker than it would normally go (as if the song already downloaded, but the download symbol wasn't shown). Also, when I play a song from a playlist that is marked for download, this song instantly gtes downloaded.

What I've tried so far:
- reinstalling the app (with a clean reinstall)

- deleting the cache
- leaving the app open during the whole downloading process

-enabling download via mobile data (in case of sudden loss of connection to my wifi)

- looking for possible data-saving options in my device settings

- tried to remove possible offline devices, but couldn't find that function

I've been looking through other threads from people who have the same problem as me but none of the solutions are working for me. Anyone know how I can stop the app from redownloading my music?
