Music starts, briefly stops, then plays again

At the start of every song when I skip track, the song will play for half a second, stop for a second then continue playing as normal, I can deal with this but it is extremely irritating.

I have this exact same problem and it is driving me insane.  I have reinstalled the application, tried on multiple devices, and it still happens regardless of if it's a song I downloaded onto the device or streamed.  It can be a song I have never heard before, or a song I listen to all the time, doesn't matter.  At first it didn't bother me, but I am into 2 months of this sh*t and it's driving me insane, especially in songs that the first second is important (like comedy tracks, for example)

This might sound really lane but have you tried checking your Wi-Fi connection or we-downloading the app? I also have an Android and haven't yet experienced that.

I've reinstalled multiple times, and this has happened on multiple devices
on multiple WI-FI networks, as well as over cellular. Happens to
downloaded music as well as streamed music.
