Music stops and app crashes when screen is off

My Question or Issue

The music stops a few seconds after i change app or turn off the screen, then when i try to get back to the app it crashes.

Could you try a clean reinstall of the app? If that doesn't help, please let me know your device name, app version, and software version.

Hey! 

Thank you for your answer, I tried the clean reinstall by following every step but sadly it didn't work.

I have no idea what caused this, it worked fine in the morning and when i openned the app on the afternoon it started crashing as i said.

I have an LG G6 with android 8.0.0 and Spotify 8.4.97.807

Hey @Muuraharkka.

I'll be happy to help. Can you make sure you don't have any cache-clearing apps and disable any power-saving mode? If you've checked that: 

• Try a different network connection
• Remove all offline devices from the account page
• If you have an SD card, remove it and see if it helps
• Try logging in on a different device and see if it crashes

Hello,

The first solutions didn't work,

then i tried login on another device and it worked and i removed the sd card on mine 

and spotify was working again. I put the SD card back and everything works fine, this is weird but thank you so much!
