Music stops when screen is closed/locked

I don't know when it started, but it's gotta be since a recent update. Every time i close my screen to put my cell in my pocket, spotify stops. I have to press resume every time, then it stops again. It even stops and put the song at it's beginning after a few minutes when I'm still doing stuff on my cell. I've looked everywhere in my spotify and cell settings and I found nothing about it. Very upsetting..

Any lead?

Hey there, help's arrived.

That doesn't sound cool. Let's try a couple of things:

• Restart your device
• Disable any power-saving options
• Remove any cache-clearing apps you might have installed
• Reinstall the app

If that doesn't help, let us know if this happens on other devices, for how long you can listen to music, and how often this happens. If you can give us an example step by step, that'd be great. Also include device, OS and Spotify version.
