Music won't un-download

So I've hit the download limit of 3,333 songs on my phone, and I've begun to remove some songs from my downloaded music to allow for more, however I've hit a problem with doing this.

When I put the slider to the left on an album, changing an album from 'Downloaded' to 'Download', the album stays downloaded. As in the little green arrow stays there even when the slider is grey. Even completely removing the album from my library and adding it again keeps it downloaded. I found that removing a particular song however does undownload it but there's no way I can do that for every song on every album I want to delete.

Is anyone else finding this issue? I'm on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge running Android 7.0 with Spotify Version 8.4.9.271 armV7
