Musik automatically muting mid song

Ever since I upgraded to premium (2 days ago), occasionally the Musik 'mutes' itself in the middle of a song. It does note say muted or something, it just keeps playing - without sound. To turn on the sound again I have to completely restart the Spotify app. I already tried logging off and on again and reinstalling. I also checked for battery saving and the 'doze' Mode as suggested in the general trouble shooting thread. I use a Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android 6.0.1. If there are any other questions feel free to ask.

Hi. Does this happen when you are streaming from spotify or listening to downloaded music? How are you listening - wired earphones, bluetooth, connect?

It happens with both, streamed (via WLAN listening with the on board Smartphone speakers) and downloaded (car stereo or headphones connected with AUX) music.
