My songs are being interrupted to play suggested content

My songs are being interrupted to play suggested content

I am a premium user on android 5.1.1.

 

At least once per hour, the song I am playing will stop and it will start playing a song by Mahmood Khan. I had never heard of this person before. I have never listened to him before. I don't play his music at all. When it does it, it says "playing from web player (chrome)"

 

"So my account is compromised" thinks I. So I log out of all locations, reset my FB password and relog in. The very first song gets interrupted.

 

I lookup here about offline devices so I clear all devices, only having my android phone approved. I reset my FB password for good measure... and it starts interrupting again after 10 minutes. 

 

I have tried deleting and redownloading the app. I have tried clearing ALL offline devices including my phone. It still does it. The only thing that stops it is to stay offline all the time. Once I go online it will happen within 30 minutes guaranteed. 

 

I know for a fact that it cannot be someone else in my account: I have changed my password too many times for that. So why is Spotify forcing suggested content onto my account?

It's not Spotify but do contact them direct and they'll help fix this.
