New layout looks unpleasant

Ive been using spotify for quite a while now, and ive always really liked the old layout [being the one with the smaller album art and the generally smaller layout] 

Yesterday, I reinstalled the app on my phone and the entire layout had changed to this weird bigger layout. [See screenshot] I really dont like it, its more confusing too. Is there any way to downgrade back to the old layout?
