Is there any way to download the my songs collection to play offline, like you did with starred in the older versions of Spotify? Thank you.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Not yet but I think it will come in a future version. For now, you can still use offline playlists or, in YM, you can download from Artist and Album.
If you're adding tracks to YM on the desktop client, there seems to be a bug which is triggered if more than 542 tracks are added at once. The solution is to restart the client to reset the bug then only add up to 500 tracks at a time. There's a bug topic here.

Why is it that whenever I tick songs in my playlists or indeed drag a playlist into My songs, whenever I open Spotify the next day it has not saved and even someitmes nearly all songs in a previously "ticked" playlist have changed to a mixture of crosses and ticks?
There is no pattern to it and just makes it difficult to check if I already have a particular song in a playlist as I always used to check in the library but now the only way is to either check each individual playlist or as I had done, move them all to "my songs" whcih clearly does not work. Bring back the old version or is it time to go back to Napster?
Have you reached the 10,000 song limit by any chance?
No less than 3500 and only around a dozen playlists.

Worked a treat thanks, just had to save a less at once before exiting then moving some more.
I'd like this as well, especially now that the convenience of Favoriting a song (which I had set up to automatically download for local playback) has been replaced with the convenience of saving a song (which won't d/l automatically). I love the idea, but it's a major regression in functionality for me.
