No sd card storage option anymore

No sd card storage option anymore

So, after the latest update on my Xperia, Spotify returned with some old issues. All my offline songs got deleted and there's no SD card storage option anymore. So basically the app became useless. I have no clue on what to do

Does this post help at all?

Unfortunately not! Have tried this, but Sony Xperia doesn't offer portable memory for SD card

Exactly which Xperia model are you using and which android version? Are you saying that you aren't given a choice of "portable" or "internal" storage when you go to format your SD card in the phone?

Hi @Lucastambosi

The SD card storage option on the Spotify App doesn't appear anymore on Marshmallow like many other apps, because the new way to storage its on "settings", selecting the "Default Storage" option as "SD Card".

However, please provide more information to us about your phone and android version to help you better 🙂

The following worked for me on Xperia L1

Open Spotify

Select Your Library

Select cogwheel at top right (settings)

scroll to near bottom and select Storage

Select SD card

After doing above it moved all my downloaded songs to SD card and any that I downloaded after this were also put on the sd card
