My Question or Issue

My 1st TV with Android. Spotify from Google Play. No settings button. Stream with the Connect from a phone or a laptop. How to be sure about quality?

Hi @schmalgausen,

Thanks for reaching out. To clarify, the issue here is that the settings are missing the TV app, is that correct? If so, could you send us some pictures/screenshots of what exactly you see within the app so we can get a better understanding of this behaviour?

Keep us posted.

Nothing more in the Settings

Hey @schmalgausen,

Thanks for the reply! We did some digging on our end and can confirm there are no settings on the Android TV app.

You can alter the music quality only on desktop or mobile.

Note that for Premium users, hardware devices will always stream music at the highest quality setting possible.
Hope this clears things up!

Could you confirm that I have 320 kbs quality on my ATV device being Premium user?

Hi @schmalgausen,

Thanks for the reply. We cannot confirm the exact value some LG TVs have certain limitations when it comes to streaming music from the Spotify TV app. We know that Chromecast supports better quality, so if your TV supports it, you're welcome to use that instead.

Hope this clears things up.
