Hey @mikek13, welcome to the Community.
Hope you're doing great!

Could you check the … top right corner?

Hope it helps 🙂

No shuffle button at top right.  If tapping it produces the screen shot with 16:06 as the time.

the other views I see are also attached.

Hey @mikek13,

The Shuffle option isn't available in a Radio Station or your Daily Mix or your Discover Weekly or the Release Radar playlists which require you to give feedback on them so Spotify can offer you with a more accuracy the music you like to listen to 🙂

Hope it help!

It certainly is in the desktop version....

Shuffle being forced in the mobile version is a huge drag and generally stops me using my phone for Spotify because of the lack of control.  I'm seriously underimpressed with this aspect of the service.

Hey @mikek13,

I'm happy I was able to help you out 🙂

If you'd like to be able to do that on your mobile app too  I’d suggest starting a new thread in the Community Ideas Exchange.

This’ll allow users, Stars, and Moderators to vote and comment on it.

Have a great day!

Even with my own playlist with no Spotify added tracks there is no shuffle button on my ANDROID

Hi there, I've tried everything in the thread and I'm still not getting my shuffle button. It's not showing on my desktop App, web browser player or my Android App. I'm a Spotify premium user and it's really annoying to have shuffle on my podcast series. Please fix this ASAP otherwise I'm cancelling.

Hey @ettione,

Tanks for posting here.

It's a good idea to try with another account on the same devices to see if anything changes. Does that make a difference?

Regarding the podcast episodes-can you share with us more information about them? When do they shuffle?

You can also send us a video recording of what you're seeing. We'll look into this further.

Keep us posted.

It seems to be fine now. Strange after a day it just reverted back. Thanks
though!

Hey @ettione,

Thanks for your reply 🙂

We're happy to hear your issue was resolved. The best practice onwards is to always keep your devices and apps updated to the latest available versions.

If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you, cheers!

Hi! I'm relatively new to Spotify, only about a year. I just upgraded the app, am a premium user, and lost my shuffle play button. I can't seem to find the suction in this thread. Help?!

Hey @Jenny36,

Thanks for your reply in this thread and welcome 🙂

No worries, we'll work together to help you with this. Since you mentioned you can't see the shuffle button, did you notice if this happens in all your playlists or does it happen in specific content such as albums?

On another note, would you mind sending us a screenshot of what you're seeing? This'll help us a lot.

Lastly, can you share with us the exact make/model and OS of your device along with the Spotify version you have installed?

Keep us in the loop!
