No sound when playing on htc one s

Hi - when I try to play any track in Spotify the track starts but no sound. I've tried to check if my speakers and/or earphones were faulty, but they are fine. I've also logged in and out countless times, and reinstalled Spotify at least twice to no avail. Its been like this since the last update, I believe - or at least 2 weeks.

Can you try following all of the troubleshooting steps outlined in the android troubleshooting guide which will completely remove all of Spotify's files and see if that helps?
