Not working at all. Galaxy s4

Not working at all. Galaxy s4

Whenever I try to open spotify on my phone it doesn't work. It sits on a blank screen. I tried to uninatall and re install and that did not help at all. I pay for spotify premium so this is very irritating. What can I do to fix this?

I have this problem too on the note 3, do you also only see the menu button?

That's certainly not what we like to hear!

 

Just to get a better idea of the systems you're running on, could you confirm which version of OS and Spotify you're currently running? Also, whereabouts is Spotify saved; the SD card or the device itself?

In my case, as I said, note 3 with standard os. Spotify is saved on the internal memory. The app is the newest, up to date version.

It's not ideal but have you tried out the reinstall? instructions on how to do so can be found over at: https://support.spotify.com/learn-more/faq/#!/article/reinstallation-of-spotify

Yes, I've tried reinstalling several times including removing cache and data.

Are there any other possible solutions? I premium so basically my money is being eaten now.

Yeah, all I can see is the menu option.

It's the most recent version on spotify, and it is saved onto the device. I've let it sit there and "load" for an hour and it doesn't do anything. The only thing I can see is the menu button but that doesn't work either.

This is starting to piss me off!!! I use spotify DAILY, now I can't use it AT ALL, GREAT SUPPORT HERE, "oh, it doesn't work, reinstall, that doesn't work? Oh, I dunno, do it yourself" I am a PAYING customer, is that how you treat those? I would like a solution to my problem or at least more effort than THIS!

I've been having this same issue for 2 weeks and I posted a topic about it a week ago and have gotten no responses! This is really annoying.

Does anyone else get the message that Spotify has stopped and the options to either hit OK or report it? That is what happens for me every time.

Only if I wait a while, if I don't force close it though, it will slow my phone down to a cripple.

I am having the same problem with my Galaxy S4.  Im very upset about it too.  Has anyone found a solution yet?  Anyone know how to contact Spotify other than through this question and answer site?

You will get an automated reply at first, however if you need to chase them just reply to the email as it does get monitored.

Exactly the same issue here.

Blank screen with just a not working menu button.

 

It almost worked the first time I launched it, but it stops and now always blank...

 

I am on a Galaxy Note with a custom ROM. Every other app I have work just fine....
