My Question or Issue

Since the latest Spotify update (v8.8.76.667) after getting part way through a playlist, and then returning to it several hours later, Spotify seems to have forgotten the remaining songs in the playlist, and will simply continue playing the song that was last playing, then just stop dead (even with the 'contiune listening' option selected)

 

I have cleared cache, reinstalled, logged in/out (all devices), unlinked/relinked all accounts, i am now out of ideas

In order for us to effectively reproduce the issue, would you mind telling us how long it roughly takes for it to occur?
We'd also like you to go over all the steps for a complete clean reinstall of the app before you check this to ensure that no old app files remain on the device.

It only takes around an hour for it to forget the playlist, barring in mind Spotify is set to unrestricted in terms of battery use, and set in the do not sleep list

 

I have managed to side load the previous version of Spotify, and the problem does not occur with v8.8.76.667

Just to make sure, have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps @Vasil sent previously? Also, does this happen with all playlists or only with a specific one? 

 

On another note, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account on your phone and see if they can replicate this behavior?
