Occasionally cannot play tracks over bluetooth.

Solved!

Occasionally cannot play tracks over bluetooth.

I occasionally run into an issue where spotify wont broadcast music to my car stereo.  The android music app works fine, however spotify tracks apear to be playing but no sound is coming out.

Anyone have a similar issue or know how to resolve this?

Spotify doesn't actually support Bluetooth streaming, and these issues occur on every platform.

Using Casio Gz'one Commando

Occasionally turning bluetooth on and then off in phone settings works.

Occasionally enabling offline mode and then disabling offline mode works.

Restarting the car sometimes works however its not recommended while driving...

Restarting the phone works (same as re-enabling bluetooth) but takes 10 minutes on this phone.

Whoa I did not know that, thx...

Kind of a deal breaker to have a mobile app that doesnt support bluetooth.

Yeah, people have complained about it a few times. It happens on iOS as well.

Having exactly the same problem to my bluetooth headset and when Im wearing it I cant reach my phone which is extremly annoying. Pressing play/next/prev or turn on and off the headset wont work either. Is it really the only solutions? Or something they are working on?

You know, I have no issues with my Logitech G930 and its macro keys, however im not sure what frequency that uses.  Either way this functionality probably works better on the desktop version than the mobile one, or I am failing to see the actual problem behind the mobile bluetooth quirkiness.
