Offline/confused account

My Question or Issue

 So Spotify only half worked, it would play songs that I had added to my library (not downloaded) and the home page worked, but search was super slow and if I clicked on an artist, it would just load a black screen. 

So I cleared the cache, restarted my phone and nothing.

Then I deleted all data, uninstalled the app, reinstalled and logged back in. Now it's even worse.

Though it lets me log in with my username and password it seems to forget that the account exists once I'm logged in, the home page suggests stuff for me based on my music, but my library is now empty and when I click on the user icon, it just says that something has gone wrong. The search function doesn't work either, sometimes it says I'm offline when I'm not, sometimes it will search but not come up with any results apart from random playlists rather than the artist I searched 

Any suggestions would be great as following all the usual suggestions ended up making things worse

Are you experiencing these playback issues on any other devices, for example on a PC or on another mobile device? 

Also I know you've already uninstalled/reinstalled, but would you mind performing a clean reinstall by following the steps outlined here?
