Offline music no longer available

I have about 50 albums which I have downloaded so that I can listen while I am offline. Today all albums were no longer available offline and I have had to download them all again.  Any reason  for this?

Usually a clean install is the first step to take and resolves most of the usual issues; the guide details the steps to take to ensure a full 'clean installation' is achieved - This includes checking redundant folders and a REBOOT!

Sometimes the issue you are seeing is due to a cache cleaner removing your downloaded tracks. Apps like CleanMaster are well known to remove the Spotify cache

And it's done it again. I turned on my phone, went straight to spotify and all of my albums were no longer available and started to download them again. Over 700 tracks. Why does this happen? Seriously considering ditching spotify and going old school with my iPod instead. At least I know those songs will always be there.
