One Single Song Will Not Download

One Single Song Will Not Download

Device

Pixel 4 XL

Operating System

Android 10, February security patch

I'd like to preface this by saying I have already exactly followed the steps outlined in the response to this post , as was suggested in this other post with a potentially similar or identical problem

Stronger, by Kelly Clarkson

It's a bop, it's my jam

It is the only song that will not download to play offline

I've tried un-downloading all of my other playlists in case it was some kind of phantom storage issue

I've removed and re-added it to this playlist

I've added it to other playlists

I've added it to its own playlist

I've tried downloading the album directly from the artist page

I've cleared the app storage, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my phone, all in various different orders of operation

Every time, the result is the same - when I flip the switch to download the playlist, everything else downloads except this one song. The little grey arrow beneath it, rather than turning green, simply disappears, and at the top of the playlist appears a notice "waiting to download"

Clicking "waiting to download" brings me over to settings, but it doesn't scroll or highlight a particular setting

Data saver is off, download using cellular is on (even though I'm on WiFi anyway)

Occasionally, I will also get a brief notification that Spotify is downloading 0 of 1, which was what tipped me off to go looking for what song could possibly not have downloaded

After all the reinstalls and everything, it's still always this one song

Hey @JType that KS for reaching out to the community with your concern,

That is a very odd big you seem to have encountered, because you have tried pretty much everything I can think of already I suggest you go ahead and reach out to Spotify support directly, you can do that here.

Best,

Jack
