Only hear loud static while using earbuds

So i have this problem where i only hear extremely loud static while playing songs. I have Samsung Galaxy S6. Things i have tried/discovered:

- Without earbuds(using the phone's speakers) the songs play fine

- There's no loud static in any other app(Youtube videos, Phone's own music player) when using earbuds

- Tried reinstalling Spotify

- Tried restarting the phone

- Tried a different set of earbuds

I had the same problem I'm not sure if it was only yesterday but today I uninstalled the app and restarted my phone and after that it worked
