Partial name search - ex: "jason ald"

So I've been waiting 2 years now for the ability to type in a partial artists name and actually get results. I should be able to type "jason ald" and get "Jason Aldean" in the results instead of "no results". Maybe I'm doing something wrong here?? If someone has a suggestion? I don't want to type a whole artists name, or album name etc if I know that i don't need to. How hard is it for spotify to add wild cards into your search query on the back end?? If i type "jason ald" they should be replacing the spaces with '%' wilcard and adding one at the beginning and the end, which would make it look like this "%jason%ald%". How hard it that?? it would take make 10 minutes max to add that in the code. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
