Phonak BT Hearing Aids - Play music locally on phone without having to disconnect my HA

My Question or Issue

My Problem is that when I listen to Spotify locally on my phone, it will start playing through my BT Phonak brand hearing Aids - That's fine but as with all other apps I can select the media output on the phone to "this device" and then it plays through the phone speaker BUT not Spotify, it refuses to acknowledge that I don't want it played through BT.  Any search just comes up with BT issues.
The only solution so far is to disconnect the hearing aids which is not what I want!
