Play button on the left? Previous/Next button in the middle? please help!

My Question or Issue

I'm not sure why/when it happened, but today I noticed that the control buttons are rearranged! I've already tried reinstalling spotify, disable the canvas loop, nothing seems to be fixing it. If anyone has any ideas how to fix this please let me know!

Spotify is monitoring and deleting complaints in this thread, interesting. Better to spend those resources into either fixing this bug or giving your design team a hiding. If your service/product worked properly, people wouldn't have to be so vocal.

Temporary Solution:

Well Spotify 8.7.26.901 is the last good app version.

You can download APK and install it. Works good.

I will continue to use this version until this stupid changes will be reversed.

Log in then out of your account on spotify. It works for some reason

Seems like this actually fixes the problem. Deleting the app-data didn't work.

But logging out and logging back in reverted the play/play button placement to the middle.

Seems McFleurry's suggestion to log out/log back into the app was worth a try, the play button is finally back to the middle where it normally would be. Now I'm just hoping and crossing my fingers that they don't force the ugly update on unsuspecting users again, but who knows for how long this will be...

• I'm facing the same problem. The thing is it just looks odd when the pause/play button displaying on the left and the left and right arrow in the middle!
