Playback keeps stopping on Galaxy S10+

My Question or Issue

 

Playback has been stopping after just a few seconds. I have tried the following solutions with no luck:

- reset phone

- reset Spotify

- uninstalled/reinstalled Spotify

- "logged out everywhere" on Spotify

- downloaded earlier versions than current (8.5.89.901)

- added Spotify to "don't sleep" list

- made sure Spotify plays in background

 

This has been happening for the past week.

Thank you for your post here in the Community. We're happy to help,

 

In this case we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app. This is different than a quick reinstall and could be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. 

 

It would also be great if you can let us know if this occurs on one specific device or multiple devices?
