Hey hey @PaulFle!

Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across your reply.

As we haven’t seen any similar posts about this recently, could you let us know if you’re still having troubles with this?

If you are, can you let us know if you've already tried to log out > restart your devices > log back in? It's also a good idea to try a clean reinstall to clear any old files that might be causing issues.

If that doesn't do it for you, we'll need to know your devices' models and OS versions.

Keep us in the loop here.

I've this problem as well. The only exception is I'm using mac to control spotify on my pc (which is in another room).
Logging out and back in indeed fixes the issue, but only until tomorrow comes.

Hey @painsomniac,

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community 🙂

If the issue persists, we'd suggest you also give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

It's also a good idea to try on another device. Does the issue occur? That way we can check if it's a device-related issue.

Keep us posted! If you have questions, you know where to find us.

Forgot to mention - I've also did clean reinstall due to this problem (before I found out I can re-login). Issue still persists.
I'll see if I can try another device

Hi there @painsomniac,

We'd also recommend trying to log out and back in on all your device, twice. As this forces your account data to be resynced manually.

It's also worth running the clean reinstall on all the devices you're using, because if there is corrupted cache on one of them, that could be causing synchronization issues on all devices.

Let us know how you get on with this.

Cheers.

@Alex,

I did a clean reinstall on all of my devices like you'd suggested. 3 days without any problems so far.

Logging out twice didn't seem to do the trick 😞

Thank you.

Hey there @painsomniac,

We're glad to hear that a clean reinstall seemed to do the trick.

If anything comes up we're always one reply away 🙂

Cheers!
