Playing music from desktop will randomly start playing on my phone!

As the lengthy title states, the Spotify player is behaving strangely. I start playing music on my desktop computer (Windows 7). Then, randomly, it'll start playing the music on my android phone (Nougat)! Sometimes it'll play from both computer and phone, other times it stops the music on the computer and plays from the phone only. I don't even have the Spotify app running on my phone when this happens. I don't know if this is a bug in the android app or the windows app... but it needs to be resolved asap please!

I am glad I am not the only one who has had this problem. I would be listening on my computer and all of a sudden a different song is playing on my phone (which is on my desk, no contact with) and then my computer will resume the song on the phone. Offline mode seems to fix this
