Playing music on other devices causes Android screen wake if the app is open

My Question or Issue

If the Android Spotify app is open, and music is played on another device on the same Spotify account, the Android Spotify app will cause screenwakes at regular intervals.

This behavior may be undesirable;

1/ screenwakes cause increased battery consumption

2/ lockscreen controls may trigger while the mobile device is in a pocket

3/ visually distracting if the user's phone is in visual range

Would appreciate Spotify's thoughts on this

Hey @twnznz as a personal Android user myself, I never noticed this bug.

If you see it happening to just you or your device, can you try a clean reinstall of Spotify?

Otherwise I suggest you submit a new community Idea on it here.
