Playlist Folders on Android

Why can't I see the playlist folders that I created with the Spotify Windows desktop program when running Spotify on Android?

I was reading some old posts from 2012, and it appeared that Spotify back then was about to release an Android version that fully supported playlist folders.  What happened?

Hi robert99999. Welcome to the Spotify Community!

It looks like you'd like to see your saved playlist on your Android device by folders, just like usual folders for any of the songs you download via third party. This is not how Spotify saves playlists on our Android devices though. All of your saved songs and playlists will only be cached on your device, meaning it's encrypted. So, folders are not option this time. Just my two cents 🙂

Hi i have just bought a new phone. I had premium on my old phone and transferred all of my data and apps when i bought it. It was just an upgrade both phones are android. Now i have ads and my playlists are gone only a couple of albums are still there. Help!!!!
