The playlist was on got stuck/burnt on the screen. It persisted even though I changed view. If I went to another app it was gone but then when I went back to Spotify it was still there.

Hey @Golvmopp, welcome to the community.

Hope your doing great!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

Let me know how things come along!

Hello @billyj

The problem fixed itself when I restarted the app.

I'll give you the versions anyway if you want to look into the problem further:
Spotify: 8.4.64.555

Android: 8.0.0
