Playlist songs not showing on songs list in general

I downloaded a playlist of 50 songs by a band - and they play if I the playlist but don't show up on my songs list in general.

Hey,

On the desktop client, when looking at the songs inside a playlist, there should be + signs to the left of each song name. Clicking on those will add them to your 'Songs' list -- the + signs should turn into ticks, confirming that they are now in the Songs list.

Hi, I understand how to add songs to my song's list, however they should also appear on the left handside as 'tunes' with the note symbol and they don't. Because of this I cannot drag them to tomahawk etc. Any help please? Thanks!
