Playlists not playing the whole list

Playlists not playing the whole list

I'm a premium subscriber. Lately I've noticed that some of my playlists aren't playing all of the songs, especially when on shuffle. Recently a lot of my usage has been on the ps4 but I control it from my phone. I have to start playing on ps4 then hit shuffle on my phone. But it's only playing about 20 of the songs. This is especially annoying in one of my playlists that has over 300 songs in it. In order for me to get it to load the whole list I have to take it out of shuffle, pause and start playing again on the ps4, and even then it'll only play half of the list before I have to start the whole process over again. I haven't noticed if it does this when I'm only listening on my phone.

I pay specifically to do a lot of these things (and offline mode) so it's frustrating when I know there's more songs then what is actually being played.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi @wvuradiochica! Welcome to the community.

I know this 'problem' since 2 months. I dont know the excact reason but everytime i click on a random song in the playlist,

the whole queue is changed. Try to click on a song that you haven't heard a time ago. This should help.

I hope it helped you ^^

Peace

No that doesn't help in the slightest unfortunately. That just makes it randomize that small section of the alphabet from then. About 5 bands go on rotate and it makes random lose it's original appeal 😞

Please say Spotify are on top of this and will put in a fix in the next few days. This is DEFINITELY a game changer as a subscriber!
