Plays one song and then stops but says playlist is still going

I've noticed that every time I open the app and I stopped in the middle of a playlist, and hit play, it will play one song(or rest of the song) and then stop. It still shows the sound bars next to the playlist indicating its still going but it doesnt even show the play bar or play any sound
