Podcasts take minutes to load on Android (Galaxy S10)

My Question or Issue

No matte whether I have a strong wifi connection or cell service when I go to my Podcast Episodes section the circle spins for anywhere from 45 seconds to a few minutes before it shows my episodes. Sometimes it never stops spinning. This does not occur with downloaded or streaming music. All my downloaded music and podcasts are on my SD card but I dont assume that is the issue. I dont know what to do. I have reinstalled the app, force stopped and restarted my phone. Help please. I dont want to use a separate app for podcasts but this seems to be the only solution.

Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread. Could you let us know if you’re still having troubles with this?

If you are, can you confirm for us that you have tried a clean reinstall (instead of a regular one) to clear any old files that might be causing issues.

Does this happen with downloaded podcasts when you're offline? 

In case your issue persists, could you let us know your Spotify version and if you experience this on 3/4G, Wi-Fi or both?
