Popup ad every time I hit back button

Device: Samsung Galaxy S20+

OS: Android 10

Spotify: 8.5.66.1002

Every time I click the back button in Spotify, the ad below appears. I have to dismiss it every single time I navigate back. This is a bug.

This has made using the mobile app too cumbersome. I've switched back to laptop. Seems the ad folks at Spotify aren't testing on real devices, otherwise this would be a red flag, no?
