Prevent current queue syncing across devices

If I am listening to a certain playlist on my desktop, I do not want this playlist to automatically appear as the current queue on my phone. I listen on different devices and I would like to keep the currently playing queues separate.

This is a very annoying feature. Is it possible to disable it?

There is an existing idea about this on the Spotify Community here. Please vote for it and Spotify will consider to implement it.
