Problem while listening to music

Hi, I have a problem or bug very annoying, use the app for tablets on Android. My device is Nvidia Shield tablet K1. While listening to music (any sound quality imposed) if they are at maximum volume, the song pauses alone, instead decreasing the volume no longer happens, happens only with the volume set to maximum.
I noticed that it does not happen with all the songs, but only with those who have strong bass.
And as if the player Spotify go into "protection" putting the song paused.

Update: It happens only with headphones or a stereo connected to the jack , with built-in speakers of the Tablet playback works correctly.
Please let someone help me?
