Problems with shuffle

HI guys, 

I've made the switch from google play music and I can't work out how to do something that should be simple.

I like to find an artist and then shuffle ALL songs by that artist. 

When I try to do it on Spotify I click shuffle, let's say for U2 by example, and all it plays me is a few songs from the latest album and maybe another 5 max from the back catalogue. 

How do I change the settings so that it actually shuffles the entire catalogue of tracks for an artist?

I've tried it and it seemed to be working for me. Can I suggest trying to re-install the application?

yeah i've reinstalled. 

It's a universal problem with shuffle. 

Doesn't work properly and loads of repeats
