My spotify is very slow and sometimes not responding on my Redmi note 9 pro even when it's offline. And it takes too long to open. How do you fix this?

Hey there @annon93

Thanks for posting on the Community about this.

We recommend performing a clean reinstall on your Redmi Note device as a first step. This ensures you get a fresh copy of the latest app version with all necessary updates. You can find the steps on how to run the clean reinstall here.

If you see no change after the clean reinstall, try disabling any power saving or data cleaning settings on your mobile device. Alternatively, you can try authorizing Spotify to run without restrictions despite the mentioned settings being enabled. Make sure you try this since such features can often prevent the app from operating at full capacity.

Let us know how you get on! We'll be here in case you need any further help with this.

I'm facing a similar issue ,when i start it, it shows blank screen and slowly after some time it just loads ui with no icons or thumbnails. i think it caused some random reboots to my phone maybe its having some compatibility issues, i have redmi note 9 pro max.

Hey @suryakantt,

Thanks for the post.

Sorry to hear that you're having such an experience with the app.

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling.

Also, make sure that Battery optimization is not enabled for Spotify from the system app settings, as well as that the app is granted all permissions. These settings could be hindering the performance of the app.

Keep us posted on how you get on with this.

Cheers.
