Radio playlist blocked

Radio playlist blocked

Hi,

I used to listen at my favorite playlist on mode radio to discover new music with the same kind as my playlist. 1 week ago, i push on like button on a metal hardcore music. Since, i say throught that button, i like hardcore metal, when i launch my playlist on radio mode i have only hardcore music. I can't go back to the past when the radio was a mix of all my playlist kind of music.

What is wrong ? me or your android app ? 🙂

Sorry for my poor english.

that is just their algorithim, and spotify is far from the only one that does that.

the likes and dislikes are how the system tells what you want to listen to. sometimes if you like a wider range of music in the first place it will work a little better. but sometimes it will just go out on a tangent for no reason. i have had to create a number of new stations to get past bad ones.

as of yet they are not adding a way to delete radio stations.

Can I reset the radio of my playlist ??

Thx for answer 🙂

I'm actually having the exact same problem.  I don't recall liking a large quantity of stoner rock bands off of my Starred radio playlist, but now that same radio station only plays stoner rock (Kyuss, Onida, Dozer, Sleep, etc.)  If I start thumbs-downing some stoner rock songs it seems to migrate briefly over to electronic music (another genre in my Starred playlist), but then it will switch back over to stoner rock after one song.

Any help on this would be appreciated, as I do actually like a lot of the stoner rock songs that come up so I don't want to thumbs down them, but I would like my starred playlist radio working correctly again.

Actually, disregard I have fixed the problem.  Basically I starred a bunch of songs from some of my favorite bands, and the ratio of stoner rock to stuff I've starred from radio has increased in favor of stoner rock, thus skewing the playlist.  Be carefull to keep your Starred playlist a good mix of genres!
