Reading messages under [Android Auto] does not wotk when Spotify is installed

My Question or Issue

When using android auto reading messages (tested with Whatsapp and Threema) does not work. Message is not read but spotify starts playing music instead. When I de-install Spotify reading messages works again. If I re-install spotify, message reading is again broken.

Since I am new with Android Auto I do not know when this bug emerged. But from google searches there is some indication that it may be rather new.

Android auto version 3.6.583534-release

Spotify Version: 8.4.72.845

Starte dein Handy neu dann sollte es wohl wieder gehen.

This issue has been fixed by by Google now.It was an error on their side.
