Recover previously downloaded songs from SD card

Hi, I had a phone with a SD card and Spotify, downloaded all my music to the SD card because I changed the location of the music. The phone broke so I took the SD card to a new phone, connected to the same account and selected the SD card as the storage medium. However Spotify don't detect previous Spotify songs but can detect other music I have in local. How can I make Spotify use the old songs ?

Thanks for reaching out! 

Keep in mind that downloads are stored as cache, so they don't behave like regular files. Once the link between the app and the cache is broken, it's no longer possible to use it. We'd suggest deleting that info and downloading the content again.
