Remote control not working properly

Hello,

I like to listen music using spotify on my android phone. To do that I connect my bluetoth head set with my phone and listen music.

My hed set has remote contrlo buttons to for example start/stop/next song and this is working properly when spotify is on main screen but for example when I move spotify to the backgound then after a while remote control buttons from my head set are not workin. For example I try to stop a song but there is no reaction on spotify. I must move spotify from background to the top then remote control buttons are working again. Is this a spotify problem? Can it be fixed somehow?

Problem still exists in newest version of spotify. Anyone can say if this problem will be fixed?

Is actually android closing the app, but leaving the media output hook which is why you can still hear the magic. Not a lot can be done in afraid

Mayby there is a posibility to leave a hook for media buttons too? 🙂

Just out of curiosity you don't have any other headset control app such as JAYS Headset Control installed?

I've just tested Spotify with mine and it works fine. Can you try a clean installation?

OK. I have reinstalled spotify on my phone. We will see if that helps. And no i dont have any other remote control applications installed.

Unfortunetlly problem still exists even on newest version of spotify 😕 Eh, probably I must live with that

I noticed that when on lock screen there is a spotify menu then there is no problem but when spotify menu dissapear from lock screen then button stops responding to. There is no problem with builtin player so this is a spotifay problem. Missing refreshing service subscription of something?
