Finally, as of 7/5/14, Spotify has added a single-track mode for androids. Thank you so much 😄
Yep, tap on the little album cover in the play bar at the bottom to open the now playing screen and you'll find the repeat and shuffle buttons. You'll also find the play queue button there, in the top right.

I agree. That and connect on the desktop client are what I crave. I believe both are coming but I haven't seen any timescales anywhere (that's normal though).
