Saving to SD card formatted as internal storage impossible?

hi,

being a premium user Id like to use Spoitfy offline on my smartphone.

Problem: with limited internal storage (Google Apps cannot be deleted) I HAD to format my SD card as internal storage.
By doing so I cant use my SD card as Spotify storage. WHY?

Come on Spotify, we pay for this service, its not for free, please fix this, it is extremely annoying. if not, I will have to cancel my subscription and look for an alternative (Amazon music doesnt have this issue)

Yes. Same problem here. I purchased Spotify premium expecting this to work and it does not. any ideas?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We'll need to gather more info about what's happening first. Can you share a more detailed description of the situation? In the meantime, we'd recommend trying these: Uninstall the app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app, and then put back the SD card.

On another note, let us know the make, model, and OS of the device you're using.
