Saying offline when not.

Samsung tab 4 - just home wifi. 

I updated it Wednesday night because it said I had an update and well since then I can't play songs or do anything basically. It says I'm offline  and there's no internet connection when I;m not as everything else works fine, every other app. I've uninstalled it and installed it and that doesn't work either

Having the same issue, I uninstalled the Spotify app and downloaded 2.8.xx apk from apkmirror.com. That website is run by Android Police so it's safe.

The only solution currently is to install Spotify 2.8.xx. 

1. Uninstall current version of Spotify.

2. Make sure autoupdate is turned off in Google Play Store.

3. Download and install apk from apkmirror.com.
