My Question or Issue

  This was briefly fixed in a previous update but it suddenly broke again. I don't know if I am in the minority but I have "small" playlists for specific moods but I also just like to shuffle through all of my liked songs. My liked songs list is over 4500 songs now. However if I want to search for a specific song in that playlist or any other playlist it is very difficult to do so because fast scrolling is once again broken. I thought maybe if I just searched the song and then click play that would be sufficient but Spotify doesn't shuffle through the playlist after the song plays. It shuffles through the search results     Please fix this. I have not experienced this on any other streaming service or music app (YouTube Music for example)

This type of issue is usually related to some damaged cache from previous updates. First, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 

If the issue persists, would you mind checking if it happens on a different mobile device with your own account? This will give us a better look at the issue.

Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating.
