Search function seems don't work correctly on Android

An example: on my device (Galaxy S3) using Spotify App I search:

Video Kill the radio star.

The results are all songs that are made by users, as Karaoke or similar, but is not present the true songs.

The result show me these songs author (people that are remade the songs):

- Antonia

- Leopard Label

- Various Artists.

.....

When I do the search on the laptop all work goods.

Why?

Is the song not called "Video killed the radio star"?

When I do the search you posted on the desktop version I get the same results as you posted for your mobile.

Android: This keeps happening to me too. Even when I search for artists that I have succesfully searched in the past, it comes up with either no artists and all songs/albums or it comes up with spinoffs like the above post talked about. Orchestral covers and such. This also happens when searching songs.

It could not find Simon & Garfunkle earlier today no matter how many different ways I typed it (Simon & Garfunkle, Simon and Garfunkle, simond and garfunkle, Simon and garfunkle... you get the point).

PC: I am having issues with searching here too such as: I search the for the band "Napoleon" and the search results come up with about 4 different artists slapped under one name, as if they were all one band.

Help! This is super frustrating.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

I am not sure what is going on with the android search, since I don't have an android device to test on! It could be an issue with the "&" character, but know knows. 

As for the PC, the issue with different artists with the same name appearing as one is discussed on this ideas topic.
